In today's world, the link between what we eat and how it impacts our health has never been clearer. When it comes to seafood, this connection is even more profound. The diet of farmed fish and shrimp directly influences their nutritional value, making the quality of aquafeed a crucial factor in ensuring the seafood we consume is nutritious, healthy, and produced responsibly.
Last month, we had the honor of hosting two remarkable groups of USSEC (U.S. Soybean Export Council) delegates from Tunisia and Algeria, accompanied by Dr. I. Kotzamanis, Research Director at the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research (HCMR), and Dr. G. Triantafyllidis, Research Fellow at HCMR. Their visit was part of the “Sustainable Developments in Mediterranean Aquaculture” technical workshop and seminar organized by Dr. Iani Chiahai, USSEC Consultant Europe.
Last Thursday, BioMar Chile hosted a landmark event for the country’s salmon farming industry: the BioMar Sustainability Seminar.
